We prepare for you fresh, seasonal and local dishes, which you will enjoy. We work mainly with local ingredients. What does our restaurant offer?

The capacity of the restaurant is 30 seats. In warmer months we open a summer terrace with a capacity of 20 seats.
We do not waste time preparing the menu, we prefer to use it for cooking and working with ingredients from our garden.
Every day we prepare a different menu consisting of an appetizer, soup, three main meals (one of which is always vegetarian) and a dessert. If necessary, we are happy to adjust to your food allergies.
Our restaurant serves primarily for guests of the guesthouse. If you are not a guest of the guesthouse, a table reservation is required
at +421 903 771 662 and it may or may not be accepted based on the occupancy of the guesthouse. Dinner reservations are accepted until 11:00 a.m. on the given day.
Around 60% of ingredients that is part of the served dishes are grown or bred in Telgárt (vegetables, fruits, legumes, meat). As the Penzión u Hanky guesthouse is a family guesthouse, guests are treated as guests of the family and therefore each dish is freshly prepared without using any semi-finished products. Our cuisine is fresh, seasonal and local.
The breakfast buffet will remind you of your childhood memories. It consists of fresh bread made of 10-year-old leaven and wholemeal, freshly ground flour. Our homemade jam is made from fruits that grow near Telgárt without adding any chemicals.
You can mix your own herbal tea from our local herbs and you can add honey from our local beekeeper.

The owner was fabulous, he was very helpful and friendly. We had a quad room which was spacious and comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast there and enjoyed both meals very much- delicious food, large selection, and everything was made to order. Would stay here again and highly recommend to others!

PeterEvery thing was great. The owners really went out of their way - we have two vegeterians and to our surprise on our second morning at breakfest a special vegeterian spread made of Tofu was waiting on the table. We felt very welcome.
